Welcome to FOUR new Recreation employees!

Please join us in welcoming four new staff to the Concord Recreation team. The following individuals were chosen amongst large pools of candidates for their respective positions. Each one of them brings a unique set of skills and experiences to our team that will work to strengthen our programs, streamline our processes, and assure Concord Recreation continues to support the Concord community at a high standard of service delivery. 

Ann Boudrot joins the Recreation Department as the Aquatics Program Manager for the Beede Swim and Fitness Center.  With almost four decades of aquatic experience Ann’s life has revolved around water, first as a high school and collegiate swimmer and then as an Aquatics Director. Over the years, Ann has run numerous pools and waterfront facilities all over Massachusetts, most recently White Pond Beach here in Concord. Ann has been coaching competitive swimming for over twenty five years and has been named Massachusetts coach of the year twice. Meggi Johnstone joins the Recreation Department as the Recreation Clerk for the Hunt Recreation Center.  Meggi is a Rhode Island native currently living in Worcester with her boyfriend AJ and cat Hobbes. A graduate of Boston University, Meggi has an extensive background in Graphic Design and will support the Recreation Department in a variety of roles including direct customer service, accounts receivable and streamlining business operations at the front desk. Nathalie McCarthy joins the Recreation Department as the Recreation Clerk for the Beede Center Swim and Fitness Center. Nathalie is a North Carolina native currently living in Concord with her husband, two children and assorted pets. A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill in International Studies and an American Airlines International Flight Attendant before settling in Concord, she really enjoys all the interesting people she meets here and all their stories. Nathalie believes life is an adventure and that one is never too old to learn or do anything. In her determination to adapt to the cold weather, she finds she absolutely loves snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and especially winter hiking. Adam Lapointe joins the Recreation Department as the new Assistant Director of Recreation. Adam was raised in North Attleboro, MA, and currently lives in Uxbridge, MA. He received a bachelor's degree in Youth Development from Springfield College, and recently got his Masters’ in Public Administration from Framingham State University. Adam's work experience varies from public and private recreation; from YMCA's in Boston and Hartford, to his recent role as the Recreation Program Coordinator for the Town of Westborough, MA. He has a significant amount of experience in positive youth development programming, management of parks and recreation facilities, physical plant management, and budget oversight. In his personal life, he has been married to his wife Maddy for 4 years, and they have 2 cats, a dog, and recently welcomed a baby daughter to the world a few months ago.
