Welcome, DJ and Emily!

Join us in welcoming DJ Fimiani and Emily Madison to the Concord Recreation Team! DJ and Emily will both be located at the Hunt Recreation Center and will support the Recreation Department in a variety of roles and responsibilities.


DJ FimianiDJ grew up in Melrose, MA and attended BC High. He graduated from Norwich University where he played 4 years of hockey and was the assistant captain of NCAA Division 3 National Championship team in 2010. In 2014, DJ received a master’s degree in Project Management, also from Norwich University. After college, DJ played 1 year of semi-pro hockey with the Louisiana IceGators and Fayetteville Fireantz and then served as the assistant coach of the Salve Regina Men’s Hockey team from 2011-2014. DJ started the women’s college hockey program at Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH, spent 1 year at Castleton University as the women’s ice hockey head coach, and has served as the assistant coach to Belmont High School Girl’s Hockey program for the last three years. Most recently, DJ worked at the Torigian Family YMCA in Peabody, MA where he was the Youth Sports and Enrichment Director and the Camp Eastman summer camp Director. Prior to leaving the Y, DJ served as the interim After-School Director and Birthday Party Coordinator while also overseeing the youth basketball, tee-ball, and Adult Basketball Leagues. Emily Madison
Emily is a New Jersey native with a passion for bringing her mental health background to the youth and recreation world. She has worked as the Youth and Camp Director at the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach, CA and as the Camp Director for the Greater Lowell Family YMCA Camp Massapoag. Emily is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and has her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She currently lives in Billerica with her partner, Scott, and cat. Emily is excited to be back in the Concord area and use her expertise to support and guide families, children, and programs in the Recreation department.
