This class is designed to keep swimmers in shape during the off season and work on a long-course program. Participants must have a competitive swimming background and be able to swim the prerequisite. Workouts will average 1200 yards for 10 & under and
2500 yards for 11 and up. This class will be workout and endurance based (no new skills will be taught). Swimmers over 10 years of age who participate in this program are eligible to participate in the Summer Bay State Games. Dates of the qualifying meets are to be determined and the official Bay State Games meet will June 27 & 28.
Swimmers must be able to swim 400 yards (200 yards for 10 and under) without stopping in under 11 minutes.
Must be able to swim 2 lengths each of backstroke and breaststroke.
Willingness to work on butterfly and flip turns
AGES 5-18 LOCATION Lap Pool MIN/MAX 5/20 TIME 5:00pm-6:00pm for ages 5-10,
5:45pm-7:00pm for ages 11-18
